Παραλίμνι

Paralimni is the town Protaras belongs to — and the place Sea & Sunlife calls home. Unlike the resorts, Paralimni lives all year round: schools, doctors, supermarkets, the weekly market and the church on the square are part of daily life, not of the season.

The coastal areas of Kapparis and Ayia Triada lie north of Pernera: small sandy coves, a fishing harbour, tavernas, and in between villas and townhouses in quiet streets. Many of them were built in recent years, and the walk to the sea is short.

Anyone planning to live in Cyprus permanently or for long winters finds the middle way here: beach within walking distance, but a town that is open in January too.
