Nissi Beach, the new marina and Cape Greco: Ayia Napa has turned from a party town into a year-round destination.

Ayia Napa is known from the old days as a party town. That is still true for a few streets in the centre — the rest has changed: the marina with its residential towers, the promenade, the sculpture park and the beaches towards Ayia Thekla attract families and year-round guests.

Nissi Beach and Makronissos are among the best-known beaches on the island; Cape Greco at the eastern end is a nature reserve with hiking trails and sea caves. In between lie quiet villa districts, many with a view of the sea.

For buyers that means strong demand for holiday lets in summer, and a town that does not empty out off season.
