Foreign nationals may own property outright in designated freehold areas. There is no annual property tax, but a one-off transfer fee to the Dubai Land Department.

Important for listings: in Dubai a Trakheesi permit number is required for every online advertisement. Without it we may not publish — it is among the mandatory fields when listing.
